KIRKCALDY · KY1 · FIFE COUNCIL
Kirkcaldy restoration — measured, supplied, fitted.
Most restoration jobs in Kirkcaldy (KY1) start the same way: a free home visit, then a fixed quote inside 48 hours. The local twist is mixed-era housing with subfloor variety changes street by street — we plan around that before a single board or roll goes down.
FOR NEW-BUILD BUYERS
NEW-BUILD BUYER in Kirkcaldy?
Buying new in Kirkcaldy usually means concrete screeds, underfloor heating in the kitchen-diner and a builder-spec carpet you'd rather upgrade. We plan the whole spec around the build, not against it.

What Kirkcaldy family-home owners typically need
Fife's largest town: sandstone Victorian terraces in the centre, 1930s semis on the hill, post-war estates at Templehall and modern builds at Chapel and Dunnikier.
For restoration, the practical implication is subfloor variety changes street by street and stair carpet on long Victorian flights. We do a free lift-and-inspect on a small section first — there's no point sanding boards that are too thin or rotten, and we'll tell you that honestly.
Local reference points: Kirkcaldy waterfront · Beveridge Park. Roughly 23 mi from Dunfermline via the A92; nearest town Glenrothes.
