No — winders and pie steps are part of a normal stair fit, priced into the standard tread rate.

Fully fitted or runner?

Both, and we show sample rods on the survey. Runners are typically £120–£220 more once you factor in binding and rods, but transform period stairs.

Wool or polyamide on stairs?

Wool twist for a 12–15 year fit; heavy-domestic polyamide for a 6–8 year fit at 30–40% less. Both are stair-grade specs.
